This is where we found ourselves last Sunday (Mother’s Day).

Banksy is the alias for an England-based street artist whose real name and identity remain the subject of speculation. What is clear, to me anyway, is that Banksy uses his art as a means of communicating (and rather loudly in my opinion) his dissatisfaction with certain aspects of society, political situations and/or even particular decisions made by world leaders.
There were many pieces – some famous, others not so famous. Some were shocking, other very provoking. This exhibit had my thoughts going off in many directions all at once and I think that’s the precise reaction Banksy wants. He got it from me.
But it was difficult to capture clear images due to the constantly moving, and changing coloured lighting. I clicked away all the same and here’s a selection of the photos I captured.

There were many messages but I think the writing on the wall as we left was most appropriate.

Oh, and I can’t forget to mention that Dean wasn’t sure what the message was in this one.

OMG, we laughed – really hard.
And so did several people nearby.

Wonderful! Thank you.

Lucky you! What a great exhibit! Banksy certainly has a unique way of looking at things.

I didn’t say so in my post, Lorie, but they were my thoughts also 😊
