The following are shots taken within the various caves we visited in the Margaret River Region.
Mammoth Cave
The cave entrance
At the entry the chamber looks huge
Then it opens up further
One formation
Crystal flowstone sparkling
One of the columns
Slow drips
One tree just hanging on at the exit
Lake Cave
Dome the stairs – hold your breath
The famous Suspended Table
A ceiling full of straws
The reflection of the table in the lake
Another reflection
From the back of the cave
With different lighting
Jewel Cave
Coral-like formations
The famous Organ Pipes
Coloured lighting highlights the beauty
This stalagmite is thought to weigh 20 tonnes
It was so pretty
Again, well placed lighting
The longest straw
Looking down from one platform
Shawls everywhere
Lots of little straws
Ngilgi Cave
The most colourful lighting we saw
The cave was full of huge formations
One large stalactite is thought to weigh as much as a 3 tonnes
I called this one “Jabba”
Some of the passageways were small, and tight
The lights were amazing
View of the ceiling
More pretty lights to highlight the formations
