For the past 18 months, my friend Tracey has been calling me her Doppelgänger, nay, she has been telling anyone and everyone, at every opportunity, that I’m her ‘little Doppelgänger’.  And whilst you may have almost choked – or giggled – over the word ‘little’, I can almost hear you saying “You look nothing alike”, and that’s true.

The Wombat In My Cosmos

I’d like to think this cosmos of mine is a delightful eclectic collection of all things me.  I love sharing my thoughts, even those that are a little hard to get into words.  I love sharing my photography and admit I am no expert with a camera – I just love to point and click.  It’s been awhile since I wrote a Haiku, or poem of any kind, but I’ll work at remedying that.  I have been delighted at the response to some of my recipes and found joy in sharing the speeches I write for Toastmasters.

Throughout this journey of sharing that started almost four years ago when Dean and I were about to embark on our trip of a lifetime around Australia, I’ve made many friends within the WordPress blogosphere.  I have often thought it would be delightful to meet some of these fellow bloggers in person.  Alas though, many of them either live overseas or not within a reasonable driving distance.
