While the entire month of October was dedicated to participating in Becky’s Lines & Squares photo challenge, there were other things going on as well.
This lovely flower has been 17 months in the making.
My succulents certainly did take a beating during the hail storm on Saturday afternoon.
It’s been a long time since we’ve had any decent rain, and yes, that’s 38 mm (1.4 inches) in my rain gauge.
I have Anthuriums flowering everywhere at the moment.

Warmer weather, the promise of light rain, slightly longer days. Spring is on its way, as is the promise of lots of blooms.

This is my Grevillea ‘Lollipop’ after the birds have had a feed.

My Zygos have not been prolific this year.
Though it isn’t overly dark in colour, this is ‘Chocolate’ Cordyline.
This is my Grevillea ‘Superb’.
It’s hard to tell it’s winter with all the flowers I have blooming.
Just $10 for a 10 punnet tray of these little rays of sunshine.
I’d forgotten all about planting these 🙂
These flowers just keep getting better and better.
Rain kissed Pinks – how sweet 🙂
I’ve had little bats everywhere.
